Bearing strips have been developed to provide highly effective, robust and user-friendly bearing solutions for reciprocating, vibration and low speed applications. Manufactured to very tight tolerances, bearings withstand extreme lateral loads and prevent metal-to-metal contact between piston and bore or rod and gland. Bearings have become the industry standard and are preferred by designers and planners in many of today's toughest hydraulic applications around the world.
Bearing are available in three formats:
Cut bearing rings, spiral lengths and flat coils. Spiral length and flat coil are recommended for customers who want to cut to their own size. Spiral lengths are recommended for dealers or customers who may need to customize various application sizes with specific cross-sections.
Manufactured from a fabric-reinforced polyester resin material using a patented process, the bearing strips are proven compatible with a wide range of fluids, including:
Mineral oil, water-based hydraulic oil, phosphate ester. The design of the bearing strip has microscopic depressions in the surface that trap fluid and incorporate lubricant into the bearing.
